Canadian woman counseled on restroom etiquette

A Quebec woman in a motor home at First Avenue West and Third Street West was counseled by a Kalispell Police Department officer Sunday morning on “etiquette issues” in America regarding restroom use.

Earlier Sunday morning, several juveniles were cited for minor in possession and released to their parents after officers responded to a report of an underage drinking party on Windriver Drive.

Saturday night, a man at Lawrence Park reported that someone stole his wife’s purse while they were on the hill. The caller told police he saw a guy with blonde hair and a beard and a girl with longer brown hair come by and take the purse and then leave in a dark blue car.

A juvenile was cited for minor in possession at Lawrence Park. Several others of legal drinking age were warned about drinking in the park.

A man riding a red and black motorcycle who was doing wheelies and standing on his seat on South Main Street was “counseled on his driving.”

Officers arrested a man in connection with a physical disturbance reported on Yellowstone Street.

An adult male and a juvenile were cited for theft after allegedly stealing a container of doughnuts from a grocery store on First Avenue East North.

Someone stole a purse from behind the counter at a business on Fifth Avenue West.

A bicycle was reported stolen on Sixth Avenue West.

A purse was stolen from a cart on Third Avenue East North.

Kids were reportedly shooting fireworks at vehicles on U.S. 93 North.

Saturday, a Columbia Falls Police Department officer spoke with a Sidney man who reportedly was making harassing phone calls to an older woman in town. The man told the officer he would stop making the calls.

Officers investigated a report of a stolen diamond ring on Ninth Street West.

A man on Eighth Street West told officers that someone stole his gas cans for a second time. About 10 gallons of gas was taken.

A theft and a theft from a vehicle, both on 10th Avenue West, were reported to the Polson Police Department on Saturday.

Whitefish Police Department officers investigated criminal mischief reported Saturday evening on Iron Horse Drive.

Someone on Central Avenue reported a fraud.
