Alone in the Crowd...
Here I sit, looking at the faces,
There are so many, but I'm still
Alone in this crowd.
I watch as everyone is on their own,
Too independent to even look at each other.
I look at everyone, but no one looks at me,
I'm alone in the crowd.
What has our world come to?
Are we just so ashamed of ourselves
To even look at one another?
While I sit here in awe,
Amongst all these people,
I'm alone, But yet,
I'm not.
