POST FALLS - Joey Pfennigs had 13 points, seven rebouds, five steals and two assists, and Post Falls pulled away in the fourth quarter to finish off Hanford of Richland, Wash., 63-51 in nonleague play Tuesday night at The Arena.

Pfennigs was 6 of 6 from the field, and Corey Koski added 20 points and 12 rebounds for Post Falls (3-3).

"I thought we played a good fourth quarter," Post Falls coach Mike McLean said. "But as a team, and as a staff, we were not very happy with our performance tonight. We are very much a work in progress. It's a win, and we'll never knock a win, but until the fourth quarter it was a very frustrating game. I thought the kids were playing hard. We weren't making shots, we weren't making good decisions. We need to get better in all facets of the game."

Post Falls plays at Lakeland on Friday in the Prairie Pig spirit game.
