I wanted to give an atta-boy to the County Road and Bridge Department men and women who executed their jobs admirably after we were deluged with the recent snowstorms and bad weather.

Everyone from the supervisors, plow drivers, shop staff and office staff handled their jobs superbly and each deserves a big thank you. The crew where I live on the east side near Bigfork had their hands full and had to deal with equipment failures as well. But they kept at it and dug us all out.

I hope the BIG storms are done for the year but if they’re not, the county and state road departments will take care of it. After all, they’re Montanans and Montanans are doers, not complainers. —Michael Thoennes, Kalispell
