Letter to the Editor:

Honest debate and discussion is a good thing. 

Disagreement as well can be a good thing, if it is channeled towards solutions, and not just looked at as an opportunity to blather endless insults and personal attacks. 

I look forward to the day when civil discussion again graces the editorial pages of our newspapers and the meetings of our City Council. Thankfully, that is up to the people of Libby. 

As was said by Edmund Burke “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Time to do something.
