Lake City falls to Boise in early season showdown
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 7 years, 2 months AGO
BOISE — It was a bit of a learning experience, even as Lake City heads into a brief holiday break.
Capi Halladay had eight points and Keara Simpson had seven points and seven rebounds for the Timberwolves in a 46-31 loss to the Boise Braves on Friday night.
“We started out the game really focused in the first quarter, got off the bus and played really well and were ready to play,” Lake City coach James Anderson said. “We started to struggle with foul trouble, but had some of the younger kids lead a fourth quarter rally. It was a-good game for us. We’re still trying to figure out who we are and where everyone fits, and we saw a lot in that regard. It really helped us see the level of play we need to get to by the end of the year.”
Lake City (1-1) travels to Kuna today.
