SANDPOINT- The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome area residents and businesses to the monthly General Membership Luncheon, on Thursday, April 12th. The luncheon will be held from noon-1PM, with registration starting at 11:45AM at Di Luna’s Café, 207 Cedar Street in Sandpoint.
The luncheon will begin with an introduction from the Chamber on our upcoming tourist season and how Sandpoint is marketed to the outside world. This will include advertising avenues and how the tourism grant is used to bring visitors to Sandpoint.
The guest speaker will be City Administrator Jennifer Stapleton. She will discuss the upcoming construction projects in downtown, including the sidewalk expansion on Cedar Street, and the addition of a bike path and utility work on Oak Street. Come hear how these projects will improve downtown, affect local business, and how tourism and the altered summer traffic will blend together.
This will also be an opportunity to meet and welcome the City of Sandpoint’s new Public Works Director Amanda Wilson and hear her vision for the future of Sandpoint.
The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce would like to encourage everyone in the community to attend the luncheon. Cost is $15 for Chamber members, $20 for non-Chamber members and includes lunch catered by DiLuna’s Café. Please register online at sandpointchamber.com or call 208-263-2161 to reserve your space.
