Swimmers run into Whitefish Lake Saturday morning for the annual Swim the Fish swim race at City Beach. More than 100 swimmers participated in the event, which includes a 5K, 1 mile and half-mile swim. The event is a fundraiser for the WAVE’s scholarship fund. (Heidi Desch/Whitefish Pilot)

More than 100 swimmers participated in the annual Swim the Fish race in Whitefish Lake Saturday. Starting from City Beach, swimmers raced in the 5K, 1 mile and half-mile races.

Seattle man booked on vehicular homicide charges
EPHRATA — A Seattle man was booked into the Grant County Jail Thursday on two counts of vehicular homicide in connection with a head-on collision Aug. 8 near George, where he was allegedly driving the wrong way on Interstate 90.
