Semi-truck involved in fatal wreck on I-90

Before 4 a.m. on the first day of winter Dec. 21, three separate semi-truck accidents occurred within a 4-mile stretch on I-90, including one fatality.

The fatality was at mile marker 53 and involved two semis before 4 a.m.. As traffic was backed up for miles while first responders worked the scene, a semi jack knifed at mile marker 51 and there was a fuel spill.

Later that morning, a westbound semi slid off the road at mile marker 54.9. Traffic in the eastbound lane was backed up for miles until early afternoon.
