ONTARIO, Ore. — Sophomore Addison Ribordy had doubled and drove in two runsand freshman Kahlea Dumas hit a two-run home run and drove in four runs in the nightcap for North Idaho College in a 8-1 and 12-6 win over the Treasure Valley Chukars in the Northwest Athletic Conference opener for both schools on Friday afternoon.

Sophomore Taryn Vanderwiel, freshman Megan Dobrev and freshman Hattie Imbler-Bremner had two RBIs each in the opener for NIC.

Ribordy, sophomore Aleyska Batoon and Imbler-Bremner also hit solo home runs in the second game for NIC (7-5).

NIC travels to Blue Mountain for a doubleheader today starting at noon.

Treasure Valley is 1-9.
