ELLENSBURG – The Central Washington University Wildcats will host their only at-home meet this season on Saturday and will incorporate honoring their 22 seniors at the event, according to a statement from the school.
"We are excited to be home this week. It is always a bonus to get to compete in front of the home crowd and avoid the effects of travel on the body. We look forward to continuing to build on the momentum we have been generating during April as we draw closer to Championship season,” said Head Coach Kevin Adkisson.
The meet will be held at the CWU Recreation Sports Complex in Ellensburg. Competition starts at 10 a.m. with the hammer throw and the first track event of the day is the men’s 10,000-meter race at 11 a.m.
