COLUMBIA BASIN — It’s the final week of WIAA athletics for teams all around the Basin, several of which are still active and competing for state championships. Check out this week’s sports schedule for a list of state tournaments, meets and matches.

Wednesday, May 24

4A State Boys Golf Tournament - hosted at Qualchan Golf Course, includes Moses Lake.

4A State Girls Golf Tournament - hosted at Indian Canyon Golf Course, includes Moses Lake.

2A State Boys Golf Tournament - hosted at Liberty Lake Golf Course, includes Ephrata and Othello.

2A State Girls Golf Tournament - hosted at MeadowWood Golf Course, includes Ephrata and Othello

1A State Boys, Girls Golf Tournament - hosted at Riverside Golf Club, includes Royal

1B/2B Boys, Girls State Golf Tournament - hosted at Tumwater Valley Golf Club, includes ACH, LRS and Warden.

Thursday, May 25

1B, 2B, 1A Boys and Girls State Track and Field - hosted at Eisenhower High School, includes ACH, LRS, MLCA/CCS, Quincy, Royal, Soap Lake and Wahluke.

2A, 3A, 4A Boys and Girls State Track and Field - hosted at Mount Tahoma High School, includes Ephrata, Moses Lake and Othello.

Friday, May 26

ACH softball vs DeSales - state tournament game begins at 12 p.m. at the Gateway Sports Complex in Yakima.

Moses Lake softball vs Richland - state tournament game begins at 11 a.m. at Columbia Playfields in Richland.

Othello softball vs Olympic - state tournament game begins at 11 a.m. at Carlon Park in Selah.

Royal softball vs TBD - state tournament game begins at 1 p.m. at Columbia Playfields in Richland.

Warden softball vs TBD - state tournament game begins at 2 p.m. at the Gateway Sports Complex in Yakima.

1B, 2B, 1A Boys and Girls State Track and Field - hosted at Eisenhower High School, includes ACH, LRS, MLCA/CCS, Quincy, Royal, Soap Lake and Wahluke.

2A, 3A, 4A Boys and Girls State Track and Field - hosted at Mount Tahoma High School, includes Ephrata, Moses Lake and Othello.

1B/2B Baseball semifinals - hosted at Johnson-O’Brien Stadium at Ephrata High School. Games begin at 10 a.m.

4A State Boys Tennis Tournament - hosted at The Pacific Clinic and Kamiakin High School, includes Moses Lake.

2A State Boys, Girls Tennis Tournaments - hosted at the Nordstrom Tennis Center in Seattle, includes Ephrata.

1B/2B/1A State Boys Tennis Tournament - hosted at the Yakima Tennis Club, includes Quincy.

Saturday, May 27

QUINCY — A youth basketball camp being held in collaboration between Royal Hoops Basketball and Quincy Youth Basketball is set to be held July 11 at Quincy High School. The camp will be open to boys entering 3-5 grade and girls 6-8 grade.

SOAP LAKE — The annual 3v3 Vape Awareness Basketball Tournament has opened registrations for teams to sign up for this year’s competition. The tournament is once again brought together by the Soap Lake Prevention Coalition and the many sponsors from around the area with the goal of bringing awareness to vaping and its effects on youth and athletes.

EPHRATA — The Ephrata Parks and Recreation Department is once again hosting the Sage-N-Sun 3v3 Basketball Tournament this weekend during the Sage-N-Sun festival. Signups were open through May 31 for teams across four age divisions, according to Ephrata Parks and Recreation.
