The body of a missing 58-year-old Kalispell man was found by authorities Saturday morning near Granrud Lane along the Stillwater River.

According to the Kalispell Police Department, Doug Lowitz was reported missing Nov. 28. He was last seen around 9:30 p.m. on the 600 block of Country Way North in Kalispell.

Police said a drone and K9 teams assisted in locating Lowitz’ body. His dog Daisy was found alive in the same area.

No foul play is suspected, officials said. The cause of death will be determined through an autopsy.

“The Kalispell Police Department sends its condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Lowitz,” a press release stated.
