EPHRATA — Two Grant County Sheriff’s Office deputies assumed new roles Monday. Sheriff Joe Kriete gave the oath of office to Corrections Division Corporal Liz Ramirez and Public Information Officer Kyle Foreman.

Foreman worked as a volunteer PIO for the sheriff’s office for 11 years, then was hired by GCSO as an emergency management specialist. Foreman has handled the majority of the PIO duties since he was hired full-time in 2021. This year the GCSO added the PIO as a full-time job.
