Whitefish keeps it clean

Whitefish is looking more pristine following the annual Clean the Fish event last weekend. 

Families and friends took to the streets and riverbanks equipped with trash bags, gloves and safety vests, which were handed out with breakfast at Glacier Bank on Saturday morning. 

After litter-picking, volunteers reconvened at Glacier Bank to enjoy a hearty taco bar and raffle prizes.

    “You can call this one ‘Gus and Grandpa,’.” Gus was eager to scramble through the underbrush to untangle trash along the river by Roundhouse Park during the annual Clean the Fish event (Kelsey Evans/Pilot).
