MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Police Department is investigating the deaths of two people discovered in a vehicle along a driveway off East Broadway Avenue near Road 4 Northeast, according to a statement issued by the department.

As of Wednesday, the bodies are with Grant County Coroner Craig Morrison’s office, according to MLPD Capt. Jeff Sursely. Sursely said he does not have comment on the cause of death and more information will be released when Morrison finishes assessing the deceased people’s remains.

A Tuesday statement indicated that investigators do not believe the deaths to be suspicious. Identities have been withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The Columbia Basin Herald will release another update once more information is known.
