The woman at the center of a November standoff in Coram is back behind bars after allegedly violating the conditions of her release by fighting with relatives.  

Anne Marie Hislop, who is awaiting trial in Flathead County District Court on two counts of felony assault with a weapon, is accused of returning Aug. 2 to the Platte Road property that was the scene of the November 2024 standoff.  

A relative who lives at the home told Flathead County Sheriff's Office deputies that he spotted Hislop, who is not allowed on the property without permission, coming up the driveway about 6:06 p.m., according to court documents. The relative, who is covered by a restraining order against Hislop, recalled confronting her before returning to the home and locking the door.  

Undeterred, Hislop found an unlocked basement door and allegedly forced her way inside as her relative unsuccessfully tried to hold it shut. The relative fled to a bedroom and locked that door. Hislop pounded on it several times before walking away, court documents said.  

The relative emerged to confront Hislop again when he saw her allegedly stealing his dirt bike from the property. During the ensuing scuffle, Hislop got the relative on the ground and began choking him, court documents said.  

She only released him when another individual on the property shot her in the back with a BB gun, court documents alleged. Hislop fled in her truck, which was later stopped by U.S. Forest Service personnel, court documents said.  

Prosecutors filed a petition to revoke Hislop's release in the days following her arrest. She remains in county jail with bail set at $100,000.  

Judge Paul Sullivan, who is presiding over the felony case, has scheduled a pretrial conference for Sept. 17 and a jury trial for Oct. 14. Hislop pleaded not guilty to both counts at her Dec. 19 arraignment before then-Judge Robert Allison.  

She picked up the felony charges after allegedly fighting with her relatives on the Coram property and sending them scattering with a hail of gunfire on Nov. 21, 2024. Arriving deputies reported hearing gunshots and called in the regional SWAT team when Hislop refused to exit the Platte Road home, authorities said.  

The SWAT team used non-lethal pepper munitions to drive her from the house. She was later taken into custody with help from a K9 unit, officials said at the time.
