Whitefish swim team one for one in Cat-Dog home dual

The Whitefish and Columbia Falls swim teams battled it out in their home pool at The Wave on Friday.  

The Whitefish girls continued their sweeping season, knocking out Columbia Falls with 487 to 171 points.  

The Whitefish boys lost their dual, albeit by a smaller margin, collecting 170 points to Columbia Falls’ 248.  

This meet closed out the regular season for the swim team. Now, it’s on to the All-Class State swim meet Feb. 13-15 in Great Falls. 

The team won’t find out who has officially qualified for the invite-only meet until MHSA finishes gathering the top times in each event.  

However, Whitefish can expect to have a solid girls squad vying for a title, and all four members of the boys team are a sure bet to attend.
