PHOTO Prospecting Club starts in Mineral County

Clifton Greuter has started a Metal Detecting and Prospecting Club for those who want to prospect together and/or use metal detectors and look for treasures. Beginners and experienced alike are welcome as he has many places in Mineral County to scour and has a good history of the mines that closed. Superior Elementary School held its local Scripps National Spelling Bee competition on Wednesday, Feb. 25 to determine which students will represent the school at the upcoming county bee in Alberton.
