Fourth of July Festivities in Bonners Ferry

A full day of patriotic celebration is planned in Bonners Ferry on Friday, July 4, as the community gathers to honor Independence Day with a parade, live music, vendors, and fireworks.

The festivities kick off with the annual Fourth of July parade, with staging set to begin at 2 p.m. at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. With the theme set as “A Salute to Heroes of Freedom, Honoring Those Who Serve,” the parade takes place downtown at 3 p.m. and features local organizations, floats, and tributes to military and first responders.

Following the parade, the celebration will shift to the fairgrounds for an evening of entertainment and fun. Local musician Scott Stover takes the stage from 4 to 5 p.m., followed by Campfire Thompson from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. The Bonners Ferry Community Orchestra will perform from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m., leading into a set by Rusty Jackson, a Pacific Northwest performing artist, from 8:15 to 9:45 p.m.

Closing ceremonies will be held from 9:45 to 10 p.m., followed by the fireworks show at 10:10 p.m.

Food and product vendors will be open starting at 4 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and lawn games to enjoy the afternoon and evening events.
