High-scoring games marks progress for Whitefish softball

A losing streak for the Whitefish softball team continues, but not without a good fight.  

The Bulldogs fell to Thompson Falls, 18-8 on Saturday. Elliot Gallagher and Allie Stuart had strong performances. Gallagher went 3-for-3 at the plate with two stolen bases and two runs. Stuart went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and one double. Grace Inabnit got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. 

The Tuesday prior Whitefish lost to Ronan 20-10, last week.

Charlei Walz led a balanced group of hitters. She went 4-for-4 with two runs, two RBIs and one double. Elyse Sharpnack went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. 

The Bulldogs were scheduled to play Libby at home on April 21. Friday, they play at Browning.
