MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake man was arrested after a truck that had been stolen from Wenatchee was found on his property Wednesday night.
Nathaniel Parker, 32, was booked into the Grant County Jail on suspicion of possessing a stolen motor vehicle, according to a media release from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle allegedly was stolen from a parking lot at the Valley North mall in Wenatchee, the MLPD release said. The truck, a Ford F-150, was seen on a traffic camera in Moses Lake.
Moses Lake officers contacted the Wenatchee Police Dept., who shared video of the theft, the release said.
“(Moses Lake officers) learned that the suspect had been caught on video getting out a green Ford Ranger pickup,” the MLPD release said. “(Officers) recognized the Ford Ranger as belonging to a residence in Cascade Valley. Officers responded to the address on Brunch Road and located not only the Ford Ranger, but the stolen F-150.”
The case is still under investigation by the WPD, the release said.
