Prosecutors are alleging that a Hungry Horse man already facing the revocation of his suspended sentence on a felony conviction has racked up additional probation and parole violations.  

Michael Raymond Loncto, 44, is accused of failing to check in with his probation and parole officer since he was last released from jail in March. Arrested in 2023 for driving around Hungry Horse while shooting a gun before leading responding law enforcement personnel on a chase, Loncto was convicted of felony criminal endangerment in Flathead County District Court the following year.  

Loncto saw his three-year deferred sentence revoked in the fall of 2024 after he stopped checking in with probation and parole. In February 2025 Judge Danni Coffman, who has presided over the case since its outset, gave him a suspended three-year sentence to the state Department of Corrections in its stead.  

Although he complied with the conditions of his sentence for a few months, by late 2025 Loncto had again allegedly dropped off the map. He was booked into county jail in January on new revocation proceedings. 

After being released in March, Loncto failed to report in with probation and parole, according to an updated violation report filed in district court on April 20. Loncto was also outfitted with a compliance monitoring device, but it has not functioned since March 18, according to the report.  

Loncto had complained that the device, a bracelet, had caused medical complications, the report stated. Though instructed to check in with probation and parole twice during phone conversations in March and April, Loncto was a no-show, court documents said.  

Prosecutors subsequently filed a motion requesting a fresh bench warrant for Loncto’s arrest. 

Although his whereabouts were unknown as of late April, Loncto was booked back into the county jail on June 23. He remains in the detention center with bail set at $50,000.  

Loncto is scheduled to appear before Coffman on Aug. 6 on his latest round of revocation proceedings.
