Man dies following truck crash on Highway 37

A man driving a Ryder moving truck died Friday morning after a crash on Highway 37 near Libby Dam.
According to eyewitnesses, the man was driving south when he collided with a Jersey barrier on the right hand side of the road. The truck, which had an Indiana license plate, then crossed both lanes and struck a cliff face.
The man was ejected from the truck and died at the scene. One eyewittness covered the man's body while others parked their vehicle above the crash scene to ensure southbound drivers knew about it.
First responders included Montana Highway Patrol, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Libby Volunteer Fire Department and the county coroner's office.
