Hana Hartman, Idaho state champion

MIDDLETON — With the lights bright and the pressure on, Hana Hartman shone. Hartman is officially an Idaho state champion in the discus, as the Bonners Ferry High School senior threw for 121 feet, 8 inches to beat out 15 other athletes and claim the title in the 4A state championship track and field meet.

It is the 6th victory for Hartman in the event this season. 

Her sister Hallie Hartman placed third, with a throw of 110 feet, 11 inches in an impressive display. of her own. They will both participate in the shot put tomorrow, May 16, at 9 a.m.
