Travis Jacob Guckenberg, 44
Travis Jacob Guckenberg, 44, died on May 16, 2026, in Kalispell.
He was born September 28, 1981, in Whitefish to parents Ted and Cheryl. At 18 months the family moved to Wisconsin. He grew up hunting and fishing with his dad, brother Lee and uncle Tom. He loved his brother and looked up to him even though he was younger. From a very young age his first job was being a farm hand along with his cousin Jason (aka Squeak) who remains like a brother to this day. He loved baseball and wrestling. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids. He graduated Mid State Technical School with a degree in welding. Shortly after that he moved out to Montana.
At 20 years old Travis met the love of his life Breann. They spent 24 loving years together. They were blessed with two beautiful children Kylie in 2008 and Kade in 2012. He always referred to them as “My Babies”. Being a husband and father was his greatest blessing.
Travis had many friends (like brothers) that he cherished, one of his best being Brian (aka Nutz). You could always count on Trav to lend a helping hand in any way. He always made you laugh.
He was incredibly intelligent. Successful at whatever he put his hand to. He was a Journeymen Plumber for Diamond Plumbing in Kalispell. As the service plumber he quickly became known for his ability to trouble shoot and solve any technical issues.
