IRONMAN: Cheers to Hadley, Cd'A

This last Sunday I completed my first Ironman and I have to say a huge thanks to the volunteers, but I have to tell you that every aspect of my visit was amazing. From the servers in the eateries, to the clerks in the stores, the encouragement and friendliness was incredible. The volunteers on the course were at many times saviours. In particular, I would like to extend a personal thanks to one of your Ironman pros. Brian Hadley not only took the time to take me on the courses, but his advice and caring nature not only kept my nerves calm but set me up for an amazing day. He took the time to help a complete stranger and a novice in the sport. Coeur d’Alene should be proud to have such a great professional reside in their town.

Strong legal rights essential in water adjudication

Have you ever turned on your faucet and no water came out? Along with many folks in rural Montana, I had that experience in 2000 when my well went dry. The water shortage at my house was due to drought and nearby development in the aquifer. This experience taught me that water is, indeed, one of our most valued resources in the Treasure State.
