I am a concerned citizen of the city of Coeur d’Alene about the lack of maintenance between Ramsey Park and the Prairie Trail, once the Prairie Trail was developed, after the completion of the Kroc Center, the area between Ramsey Park and the Prairie Trail has become a dumping ground for the excess dirt from other locations in the city. This area is such an eyesore that everyone who uses the trail has to look at day in and day out.

White-tailed deer illegally shot and left to waste in southeast Idaho

A member of the public found the deer on the banks of the Snake River between Blackfoot and Firth, about a half-mile south of East River Road. It is possible the deer was shot by someone from a boat on the Snake River or was dumped into the river after it was killed.
