When drunk, pass out at your own house

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a ranch on U.S. 93 near Olney to investigate several 911 hang ups. An ambulance was requested during at least one of the abbreviated calls. Upon arrival, deputies found the door kicked in and a 36-year-old man, who had been drinking, passed out in an office chair. The barely coherent man told deputies he entered the building after hearing voices inside. He was arrested and charged with trespassing and criminal mischief.

Kalispell police, responding to a late-night call from a Target store worker worried that an inebriated customer might try to drive, escorted the alcohol-fragranced woman to her home. At least, she thought she knew where she lived. She told police she wasn't sure which house it was, but they were in the right area. She asked them to drop her off on the corner and she'd find her way home.
