No. 24142 The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC), Stillwater Unit, is proposing the Glen Mud Timber Sale Project, which would harvest 1 to 3 million board feet (MMbf) of sawtimber. Regeneration harvests as well as commercial and pre-commercial thinning operations would occur on 200-300 acres of State Trust lands located approximately 5 miles east of Eureka, MT. Harvesting would occur in portions of sections 16 and 36, T36N, R26W in Lincoln County. The Common Schools trust would receive income from this project.
