EBay asks users to change password after cyberattack

NEW YORK — E-commerce site eBay is asking users to change their passwords after a cyberattack compromised a company database containing customers’ names, encrypted passwords, email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth.

John Ryan Micklewright, 28

John Ryan Micklewright, 28, passed away Nov. 28, 2010, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He was born to Darrell and Fran (Bour) Micklewright on March 31, 1982, in Davenport, Iowa. Ryan s family moved to Kalispell when he was 2 years old. Ryan graduated from Flathead High School in 2000. He loved cooking and attended Scott Community College in Bettendorf, Iowa, majoring in culinary arts. Ryan loved playing guitar, the Chicago Cubs and the band Pearl Jam. He was preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents. Ryan is survived by his parents, Darrell Micklewright and Fran Micklewright, both of Kalispell; son, Samuel James Micklewright; brother, Jason Micklewright, of Port Hueneme, Calif.; and sister, Jennifer Micklewright, of Kalispell. Memorial services for Ryan will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home. The family suggests that any memorial contributions be sent to the Sam Micklewright Education Fund, Whitefish Credit Union, No. 972257, P.O. Box 37, Whitefish, MT 59937.
