Sandpoint's 9-10 year-old All Stars made history Saturday when they became the first Minor League team to defeat a Lewiston team in tournament play. The Sandpoint Minors were able to hang on to a 12-10 lead into the sixth inning over Lewiston, after nearly blowing an 11-1 lead.

Neil David Brewer, 43, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at his home in Kalispell. Neil was born Oct. 30, 1965, in Kalispell to Maxine and David Brewer.

This month, the Glacier All-Stars 15Us wrapped up their time representing Montana Babe Ruth at the Pacific Northwest Regionals. For three years, the Flathead Valley has wrapped their hearts around this team and shown overwhelming support as we traveled to regionals across Washington and Oregon. The Glacier Babe Ruth U14 state championship baseball team finished its season with a second-place finish at the Pacific Northwest Regional tourney in The Dalles, Ore. This trip was made possible by the contributions of many local businesses and organizations.
