Kalispell police
were called to the Finish Line bar Sunday when an older man in a flannel shirt caused a disturbance. His swan song before he was ejected from the bar was to throw a drink at the bartender. In the parking lot, he yelled about aliens and banged on vehicles until police sent him on his way.

The Flathead County Sheriff's Office received a number of complaints about bad dogs, including one on Zimmerman Road that a woman pepper-sprayed. Twice. But the animal-story-of-the-day award goes to the woman on U.S. 2 East, where a cougar on her porch wouldn't let her into her home. An animal warden was notified.
