TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) — Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly on Wednesday called for a new program to improve the state's roads and bridges, urged state lawmakers to approve a bipartisan Medicaid expansion plan and warned she is likely to veto the income tax cuts that Republicans are pursuing.

Art show in Kalispell on Friday
On Friday, Nov. 17, A Plus Health Care and Art and Soul Expressive Arts are hosting an art show to celebrate the work of artists with special needs. A collection of artwork created at a monthly art class will be on display. Appetizers and beverages will be served. The public is invited to meet the artists and learn about the expressive arts program.
