COLUMBIA BASIN – With last week’s winter snow came a whole lot of winter fun in the Columbia Basin. Children and families from throughout the area took advantage of the fresh-fallen powder to enjoy a little time outdoors throwing snowballs, creating snowmen and just having a good time in general. Seattle man booked on vehicular homicide charges
EPHRATA — A Seattle man was booked into the Grant County Jail Thursday on two counts of vehicular homicide in connection with a head-on collision Aug. 8 near George, where he was allegedly driving the wrong way on Interstate 90.
Body found, believed to be missing Moses Lake man
STRATFORD — A body believed to be that of a Moses Lake man missing since Sept. 5 was found in an irrigation canal near Stratford Thursday.
