Santa Pub Crawl
Get out of the house for a night on the town – responsibly – in support of a good cause. Participants are asked to bring a $5 donation or a toy to go to those in need during the holidays. The pub crawl will start at 1:30 p.m. at Ramiro’s, 354 S. First Ave., Othello. Participants are encouraged to pay for refreshments as they go in order to prevent slowing the pub crawl. Public intoxication is strongly discouraged.
Ritzville Winter Fest
Various locations in downtown Ritzville. Quinter Fest 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at th4e Legion Hall; Christmas at the Museum 1-4 p.m. at the Train Depot; gingerbread contest 1 p.m. at Pioneer Plaza; Ornament hunt 2 p.m. and Santa Parade 2:30 p.m. Info: www.ritzvillechamber.com.

Four cars damaged in Moses Lake collision
MOSES LAKE — An early-morning collision damaged four cars parked outside a residence and led to a DUI arrest in Moses Lake Tuesday, according to a release from the Moses Lake Police Department. Nelson Burley, 23, was booked into the Grant County jail on suspicion of DUI, first-degree malicious mischief and four counts of hit and run, unattended, according to a press release from the Moses Lake Police Department. Burley was driving in the vicinity of North Clark Road and West Meridian Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, the release said. “Officers determined the causing vehicle, a 2006 Chevy Silverado, failed to negotiate the turn, losing control and striking two parked cars. One of the parked cars was pushed into another, when was then pushed into the garage, striking a fourth vehicle. The driver fled the scene on foot but was later returned by a family member,” the MLPD wrote in the release.

Man gets probation for DUI probation violation
A man who violated the terms of his probation for driving under the influence received a new term of probation this week, according to the Kootenai County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
