COLUMBIA BASIN – A busy week is ahead for the Columbia Basin with loads of events in a wide variety. Swing a club, catch a musical, get healthy or just have fun together any way you can. Here are a few suggestions:

Moses Lake Chamber Golf Scramble

Rusty Mammoth Sale

‘Into the Woods’
Central Washington University presents the Stephen Sondheim musical. The popular Broadway musical intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales, exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. The main characters are taken from “Little Red Riding Hood,” “Jack and the Beanstalk,” “Rapunzel,” and "Cinderella,” plus several others. Seattle man booked on vehicular homicide charges
EPHRATA — A Seattle man was booked into the Grant County Jail Thursday on two counts of vehicular homicide in connection with a head-on collision Aug. 8 near George, where he was allegedly driving the wrong way on Interstate 90.
Body found, believed to be missing Moses Lake man
STRATFORD — A body believed to be that of a Moses Lake man missing since Sept. 5 was found in an irrigation canal near Stratford Thursday.
Grant County communities plan 9/11 remembrance events for 25th anniversary
GRANT COUNTY — Communities across Grant County will pause Friday to remember the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and honor the first responders who risked and gave their lives in the aftermath as the nation marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
