‘Shadow of the Erdtree’ DLC for ‘Elden Ring’ release date set

TOKYO — Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have announced a June 21 release date for the long-anticipated “Shadow of the Erdtree” downloadable content for the “Elden Ring” video game, according to a FromSoftware press release. 

Preorders for the expansion to the popular game began February 22 and retails for $39.99 before tax in its base package. Additional editions are available through the platforms the core game is available for. Those platforms include PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Steam. 

According to a description in the press release, those who have preordered the game can get bonus content in the form of multiplayer adventuring with the gesture known as “Ring of Miquella.”

The original game was released February 2022.

MATTAWA — The area of Level 3 evacuations prompted by the Railroad Fire north of Mattawa has been extended to the area of lower Crab Creek. The Grant County Sheriff's Office issued a Level 3 notice about 8 a.m. Friday for the area about seven miles from SR 243. Level 3 means people in the affected areas should leave immediately. The GCSO issued a Level 2 notice for the area from Jericho to Smyrna at about 8:40 a.m. Friday. A Level 2 notice means residents should be ready to evacuate and monitor emergency information.
