The Plains-Hot Springs Savage Horsemen wrestlers competed at the Arlee Christmas Tournament Dec. 20 and four Horsemen earned honors. “The tournament went great,” coach Jesse Jermyn said. “We had six out of eight place.”

Matthew Thurston and Beau Crabb each won first place, Thurston at 132 and Crabb at 157, Billyray Holotta placed second again after having won second at 150 in the Kinney Memorial at Superior the week before, and Owen Jermyn won fourth place at 138 in the Arlee tourney.

In the girls portion of the Arlee meet, Kiara Brown (130 pounds) and Ireland Corbin (135) both won third place honors

Brothers Remy and Brock Ryan, who compete at 150 and 157 pounds for Plains-Hot Springs, did not wrestle in Arlee.

P-HS wrestlers return to the mat January 9-10 for action at the two-day Cut Bank Invitational.
