8-man All-Conference teams selected

Conference coaches have made their selections of players for post season honors following the completion of season play by Western conference 8-Man football teams.

Selections from the playoff-qualifying St. Regis Tigers and Superior Bobcats include many of the names local fans have become familiar with this fall.

From the Bobcats’ roster, Turner Milender, Gannon Quinlan, Landon Richards, Logan Merrill and Sam Doughty all earned first team honors both ways, on defense and offense, and Phin Cataldo was named first team defense and second team offense.

From St. Regis, Conner Lulis, Barrett Bessette and Nathan Bohn all also nabbed first team honors on defense and offense, and Isaac Kelly was named second team offense.

Plains junior Cody West earned second team recognition for his play at defensive back for the Horsemen.

Defensive and offensive league most valuable players were also selected. Senior Derrick Brovold of regular season champion Seeley-Swan was named defensive MVP and senior McCoy Townsend of Darby earned offensive MVP honors

All-conference and all-state teams are selected by league coaches following the conclusion of regular season play.
