14C basketball All-Star game tips off in Superior

Have hope hoop fans, the season may be over but there is still one more chance to see some of your favorite local high school players in action.

District 14C coaches and athletic directors will present the first annual 14C Basketball All-Star boys and girls games to be played in Superior this Wednesday, March 18.

Teams and coaches for the inaugural event have been selected and named and fans are welcome and being urged to attend. In order to pay MOA officials, spectators are being asked for the price of admission, $3 for students and $5 for adults.

The 14C girls game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. and the boys at 6:30, with two 20 minute halves being played in each contest. The players have been broken into light and dark jersey teams for both the boys and girls.

Subject to last minute changes, the following rosters have been named:

Boys Light – coach Jeff Schultz, Superior; Conner Lulis; Jayvian Burke; Karson Cox; Gannon Quinlan; Justice Kayser; Shea Fredette; Barrett Bessette; Thomas Addison.

Boys Dark – coach Jeff Buck, Charlo; Isaac Kelly; Talon Addison; Riley Gates; Shane Hatchel; Landon Richards; Nathan Bohn; Tasker Brown; Devin Hill.

Girls Light – coach Jake McElroy, Superior; Kara Christensen; Maizey McDonald; Keke Tenas; Lily Jasper; Madison Harris; Shelby Simkins; Abigail Yoder.

Girls Dark – coach DJ Diapot, Two Eagle River; GG Hawk; Brielle Zempel, Maryisa Swope; Shannon Todd, Eleanor Massey, Kora Hensrude; Lilly Sansom; Josie Crabb (Ava White).
