'Koats-4-Kids' kicks off Oct. 23
Kootenai Kiwanis Koats-4-Kids, a service project of the Kiwanis Club in Libby and Troy since 2002, will begin its 2017-2018 season 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23 at the Asa Wood Center at 700 Idaho Ave. in Libby. It will be open those hours on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the winter.
Suspect in custody
POLSON - A Kalispell man is in custody as a suspect in two thefts at the Polson Wal-Mart. Timothy Polly, 38, was arrested for theft after witnesses gave a description and license plate number of a vehicle fleeing the scene after the latest incident on Aug. 31. The vehicle allegedly was stolen.
