RATHDRUM — Nolie Hiatt faced 32 other golfers at the Timberlake Invitational golf tournament. The Bonners Ferry junior placed first. Hiatt shot a 93 at the course, winning by one single stroke.  

Patrick Young performed well for the Badgers as well, placing second out of 55 total boys golfers with an 84 on the course, five back of the lead.  

As a team, the Badgers finished in third place out of nine teams in the boys bracket with 379, just ahead of Logos who were one shot behind. On the girls side, Bonners Ferry finished in third place out of four teams, ahead of St. Maries.  

Gabe Warren and Tyler Cordle were second and third for the Badgers, each shooting under 100. Warren shot a 93 and Cordle a 96. Kai Aitken (106) and Marvin Michaels (109) rounded it out for Bonners Ferry boys golf. 

Callie Bateman was the second-best golfer for the Lady Badgers, as she shot a score of 105. Eleanor Sheets was third for Bonners Ferry girls golf with a 128. Sondra Fairchild was just a stroke behind at 129 and Lilly Bremer rounded the scores out with 132.
