Patrick Young finished just one stroke off the first-place finisher at the Potlach Invitational Golf Tournament on April 20, as the Badgers boys golf team took home a third-place finish in a nine-team event.
Young shot a 77, the second-best performance in the tournament. He was seven shots ahead of the third placed finisher.
Fellow Badgers Tyler Cordle (92) and Gabe Warren (96) broke the 100 stroke mark. Marvin Michaels (103) and Zack Homan (109) rounded out the entries from Bonners Ferry boys golf.
Bonners Ferry girls golf had three entries. Sondra Fairchild (112) led the team, with Eleanor Sheets (119) and Lilly Bremer (120) separated by just one stroke.
