SPIRIT LAKE — The Bonners Ferry High School boys 4x200 meter team won their race at the Timberlake Invitational on April 24, the high point in a podium finish for the Badgers in boys track.  

Out of 16 teams in the boys division, Bonners Ferry was third, while they were fifth in the girls division. The team scores were made all the more impressive given there were several events the Badgers did not compete in.

Hallie Hartman placed first in both the shot put and discus to continue her winning ways, as Devin Sceppe showed off his hurdling abilities to end up with two fourth-place finishes. 

Kylie Calderone placed second in the mile, while Hana Hartman was second in both the discus and shot put. 

Ben Middleton and Spiro Petras placed back-to-back in the 200 meters, in fourth and fifth place respectively.  

The Badgers beat six other teams to claim first place in the 4x200 relay, winning by nearly four seconds. The team was comprised of Ben Hollabaugh, Gio Faroni, Ben Middleton and Spiro Petras. 

The 4x100 boys team placed second, with a team unchanged except for Riley Beggerly in place of Hollabaugh.
