PONDERAY — The city of Ponderay announced Tuesday it is seeking sponsors and vendors for its annual Neighbor Day event later this summer.

Now in its tenth year, the event is expected to draw over 500 attendees, according to the press release. Neighbor Day is set for Aug. 29 and will include live music, a beer garden, carnival-style games and both food and retail vendors.

For those interested in becoming a vendor, there is a $50 vendor deposit and form that needs to be completed and returned to Ponderay City Hall. The $50 deposit will be returned to all vendors who participate in Neighbor Day on the day of the event.

Sponsors can choose between four tiers, beginning at $499 and below and topping out at the $3,000 Ponderay sponsor. There is only one Ponderay sponsor available; as part of the package, the business will become the presenting sponsor of the 10th Neighbor Day.

Donations can be made by cash, check, credit card, or through in-kind donations or services to be used at the event. Both forms can be found online at cityofponderay.org/ponderay-neighbor-day.

Residents with questions are encouraged to contact Ponderay Planning Director KayLeigh Miller at [email protected]
